PREPARING TALENTED CHILDREN FOR THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES THAT LAY AHEAD
Your child is bright and talented. (S)he is curious, learns very quickly when interested in the topic, and is highly involved in the world around him/her. (S)he is doing well in school, but you have the feeling that (s)he is not fully challenged in regular education. You have the feeling that your child has more potential than what is currently used.
This is where we come in. It is our mission to make high-quality, challenging education accessible to advanced children, that connects to the needs of the global challenges that lay ahead.
We challenge students and nurture their potential
Many advanced students are not challenged enough in traditional education. Often there is a lot of attention for the struggling students and less for the advanced, talented students. We fill this gap.
We develop the skills needed for the world of tomorrow
We break away from all the traditional courses, like math, and English, and we work on concrete, real-life projects. It always starts with a problem that our students will have to solve, sometimes for real clients. Our students improve their communication, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
We contribute to change/future leaders
By having students experience their impact in the projects that they work on together, they work on leadership skills. By creating impact, students grow awareness and a sense of responsibility on how they can have a positive impact on the world around them.
We work towards a sustainable future
By using the UN Sustainable Development Goals in our educational framework, we contribute to a more sustainable future.
FOUNDER & TEACHER

I have a great passion for education. I have almost 10 years of experience in higher education. I currently work for the Delft University of Technology (#57 university worldwide, #13 in Europe, and 1st in The Netherlands according to QS rankings), and the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (#17 in The Netherlands, and #2 in Utrecht). I love developing and teaching university courses on e-marketing, and entrepreneurship and I coach graduate students. I am an expert in didactics and assessment and I assess lecturers when obtaining their university teaching qualification certificate.
In the past, I worked for the VU University Amsterdam (#146 in the World University Rankings (THE), #8 in The Netherlands). It ranks #39 worldwide regarding the 17 SDGs, and 2nd in when it comes to taking action against climate change – SDG 13. It is the most sustainable university in The Netherlands. I always wondered why primary and secondary education does not prepare our children better for the real world and the real challenges that they will be facing, and why talented children are not challenged in a more meaningful way. I have two children, 9 and 10 years old, who have been the source of inspiration for Our Next Leaders.
It is my mission to make high-quality education accessible that connects to the needs and skills of the future job market and that prepares our children for the global challenges that lay ahead.
